We are seeking a Social Media/Marketing Coordinator!

 

Our Mission

Equine Outreach Horse Rescue is a non-profit organization based in Bend, OR. Our mission is to to
provide sanctuary and high level care for senior and medically compromised horses, and to advocate for the better treatment and protection of these vulnerable animals within our community.

 

Role Description


As a Social Media / Marketing Coordinator volunteer, you will support us in developing and implementing our marketing and Social Media campaigns as well as produce digital collateral for our online platforms and monthly newsletters. This volunteer role requires a passion for animal welfare, innovative marketing abilities, and an understanding of digital media platforms and engagement practices. Tasks will include creation and development of social media content, email marketing campaigns, search engine optimization, newsletter content management and managing the website.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in a marketing or communications role preferred

  • Prior experience managing and deploying social media campaigns on various digital platforms

  • Excellent communication, project management, and teamwork skills

  • Demonstrable knowledge of social media analytics tools, search engine optimization

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Web Analytics and/or Marketing Automation platforms is preferred

  • A strong passion for animal welfare and an understanding of nonprofit marketing practices

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to visit the ranch weekly to for the development of photo/video content

  • Ability to contribute at least 4 hours per week, targeting 1-3 SM posts weekly
