Shiney was rescued in early 2024 from a local neglect/animal welfare case. She was underfed with hooves that had not been trimmed for years, amongst other things. We partnered with the Sheriff's Department to ensure Shiney had a safe place to land as adoption at her age would have been unlikely. She has recovered nicely and lives with her companion, Honeybee, who was rescued along with her.
